"Welcome, readers. I thank you for walking with me as you read my collection of poems in my first book, Breathless Soul. The poems were born out of a personal journal of reflections that helped me to express an incredible range of emotion during my grandson’s illness and passing.
My experience of loss is unfortunately not unique to many of you, but my journey is truly my own. In writing Breathless Soul, I hope to give the reader a window into my experience so they may have hope in knowing that God is always with us and with faith we will be able to see light after the darkness.
As you know, I spend most of my time in upstate New York. It truly is God’s country. I am grateful for the gift of nature in all its beauty. Here is where I hear the voice of my heart.
